Product description

If you are looking for technical, ultra lightweight trekking boots for demanding, high Alpine use, then the Ribelle Tech 2.0 HD by Scarpa are the right choice. The tried and tested sock-fit system with integrated, elastic gaiter and the Pentax Precision sole give optimal stability and a non-slip, secure grip. The waterproof HDry membrane guarantees incredible breathability for a pair of mountaineering boots. The combination of materials used for the upper - KCN-Tech and Schöller S-Tech - gives the high level of comfort that alpinists know and love.

The Vibram Pentax Precision outsole is also compatible with crampons. It is divided into three  tread zones and has high edge stability while still being flexible. This means that the Ribelle Tech 2.0 HD are perfectly equipped for climbing via ferrata and can also be used for traversing snow fields and glaciers. These rock-oriented lightweight mountaineering boots have an abrasion-resistant upper and a narrow fit. The lacing system extends far down to the forefoot for the perfect fit. The boots also have a practical cover flap for protection against dirt and moisture.

Hey Giorgi,

insoles won't help with the stiffness. In fact, it is meant to be as stiff as it is and stay like that...

Best regards,
Max

Peased

Yet to use in anger, but they feel comfortable. Sole is usefully stiff - will need some time with crampons to evaluate.
Feel light (which they are) and neat on my feet.
A little bit of a tug to get on but I like the sock / cuff.
Fit: the 46 is slightly less snug than my 45 Meindl Vacuums and snugger than my size 46 Nepal Cubes (normal shoes 45 to 45.5).

Superb boot, definitely recommend

Only slight downside for me was that on the ones I recieved, the gatier is a bit slack, but honestly I'm nitpicking, they are amazing.
