A small part of the lives of many of us is the quest for an effortless pair of shoes for every day use: fit, adaptability, durability, sustainability*, etc.
My quest is OVER!
I have now acquired several pairs of Mojitos over the years. They fit like the proverbial glove, they last years (and can be repaired*), look cool, are cool in the summer and (the GTX version) also perfect for the winter.
The Vibram® sole has stood the test of time.
They can be kept spruce with an occasional Nubuck "shampoo" (not the canvas ones).
And, unlike some competitors' "technical" Approach Shoes, the laces don't come undone!
Highly recommended.
*Two pairs – after several years of use – have cracked open along the inside top of the rubber midsole where it flexes just forward of the arch, but this was patched up by my local shoe repair guy.
