I went to wearing hiking shoes as my standard, everyday shoe about eight years ago. I have tried most brands but these Salomons, are INCREDIBLE to the point that i want to get a stock of 4 pairs for the next four years. I size as a UK 10 and the UK10's fits lovely and snug. Thought theyre was a little bit of toe rubbing at the front at the start of wearing them, but fit is lovely.
I have road tested so far over 5 months during an Irish winter (wet and more wet, and wet again). The comfort is outstanding, the goretex waterproofing is great, warm, dry and cozy. I would give 6 stars if that was mathamatically possible.

I recommend you order a size up when purchasing Salomon shoes as there not true to size. Unfortunately I had to return because of this issue.
