Hi, my brother and I have used this on several occasions. I remember reading a blog somewhere where somebody recommends adding 5-8oc onto the comfort rating and this is what it will actually feel.
Let me start, the comfort rating is achieved by "computer-controlled thermal mannequin is used to determine the sleeping bag's temperature limits."
So with this one at around 8oc We are having to wear thermal leggings, long sleeve top, thick socks, thin gloves and a woolly hat.
My brother sometimes need to wear his windproof trousers and jacket when the temp. drop to 5oc, and at the comfort level of 0oc we are having to wear a second base layer and 2 socks.
This is using a Klymit Insulated Static V and a 1 person Snugpak Ionosphere tent
Putting the comfort temperature to one side, the sleeping bag has a lovely comfort silk feel to it that makes you want to sleep in it forever, its roomy, I'm 6ft1 and this fits me with loads of space.
My brother has managed to tear the footing interior area after 8 weeks of usage, so we will be sending this back to RAB based in Derby, for inspection under the lifetime warranty.
Hope this helps you
