I had read about Merino wool inhibiting odours, but it wasn't cheap, so when I received my first Ortovox base layer, I tested it by wearing it for ten days in a row (one of those days included a tough 7-mile hill walk) and I was amazed that at no point did it develop that dreaded body odour smell that all my synthetic walking gear does! This is a game-changer! It's also very stylish compared to other makes. I wear it as a normal leisure top, so it gets daily use rather than specifically for walking and skiing.
