Great protection, really easy to carry because it's really light, and the fact you can detach the two pads and make an "L" shape is incredibly useful.
Will definitely be buying more in the future in case i need some more!

Excellent pad for the price paid. Would not recommend as a main pad for higher boulders as its a bit on the thin side.
Threading on the sides and straps broke after about 18 months heavy usage.

How comfortable is sleeping on this mat (what is approximately the hardness compared to a standard foam mattress)?
Is it possible to zip two spread out on a longer dimension so that there is an area for two sleeping people 200cm x 120cm?
Hi Leo, It's not that you could not use this as a sleep mat but for two the shape is not ideal. Two togther could work but they , as far as I know , could not be zipped together. Comfort is really up to the end user to decide as we all prefer a different kind of mattress for our beds at home but this crash pad will be rather firm. If that's your thing then it'll be grand.
The cost and diversity of this bouldering mat made it an easy choice. The adaptability to be used in different configurations and the zip means that you can potentially have 3 different mats in one package and easy to store unit.
