If it starts to drizzle, the DWR finish on the outer will force the water droplets to bead up and roll off the fabric. For freedom of movement in the mountains, the jacket has some stretchiness to it and comes complete with Angel Wing Movement technology. If you get too hot, you can always use the full-length front zip for some fresh air. As for storage, there are two zipped front pockets and one zipped inside pocket for storing smaller items.
