Product description

The waxed polycotton material from Lundhags used for the Women's Makke Pro Pant makes them a tough, warm and breathable option for the outdoors. Even on longer hill walks or treks, the Makke Pro fit around the seat and knees extremely well thanks to the three-layer material - and they do so without restricting freedom of movement. Sitting in the snow during the break won't be a problem, either, because the three-layer material on the seat fends off both cold air and water. Of course, Lundhags has forgotten about breathability. Despite a hydrostatic head of 20,000mm in the three-layer areas, the trousers boast a breathability rating of 16,000g/m²/24hrs. Most of the trousers has been treated with water-repellent wax as well. Other great features include the taped seams on the knees and seat, the protective Cordura reinforcements at the instep and the ventilation openings at the inner thigh. With an adjustable waist and leg cuffs, seamless inner lower legs and a boot hook, the Women's Makke Pro Pants are extremely warm and tough outdoor trousers for cold weather.

good uk winter pant

I love the lighter version of this pant but thought these weren't quite as good. The waterproof segments aren't that waterproof and I got a hole in the front pocket (it was an ice axe so fair enough) but just thought they'd be more robust and winter ready. Used them in alpine mountains. Think they'll be great back home in the UK on cold winter hikes but not suitable for alpine climbing.
