Perwanger leather provides good protection from snow and cold on the outside, while a removable woolfelt inner shoe keeps the foot warm. Extremely abrasion-resistant and permanently waterproof Certech 5.0 is deployed on the boot's body with a high shaft. This is cellular rubber that protects the foot from external strains and is specially reinforced at the toes and heel. A cushioning midsole and the Vibram Icetrak outsole provide good grip and soft tread on slippery surfaces. The inner shoe is reinforced with water-resistant nylon, thus allowing it to be used within the house or cottage without the wool being damaged or it becoming wet.
