A bit on the heavy side but thats expected and normal i think. I have used for winter trecks and mountaineering and they hold great with a base layer underneath. Alltogether great trousers.

After wearing some other style pants, this is amazing. Light and strong. I even walk in snow, fell in snow with kids and its waterproof on snow level. I recomend.
