Buying these shoes was a gamble. I was looking for comfortable but also a good fit for my small/narrow feet. These are my first pain-free shoes (4th pair) and they are PERFECT. Great with the laces because it hugs in the right places. The are surprisingly also great with standing on small edges. They are great. I can walk on them, don't have to take them off between climbs because.. they just fit. Only one disadvantage is that toe-hooks are a little bit uncomfortable with the laces.

Looking for my first pair of climbing shoes, I bought this model as they were promising a good mix of beginner level performance and comfort. And they deliver just that. I feel very confident when stepping on the smallest foot holds and I forget I am wearing them on and off the wall. As for the sizing, I used the la sportiva chart and picked the size corresponding to my foot length and they fit perfectly. They felt a bit stiff out of the box, but loosened up quickly so I enjoyed them pain-free the first time I took them to the gym. A bonus - they look super pretty!

Bergfreunde customer service is very good and the delievery process was fast. The climbing shoes took more sessions to break in than expected, but after that it becomes confortable. Mainly doing rock climbing, the rubber and the stiffness feel adequate to me.
