Unlike Scarpa shoes (sock fit is amazing), the guide took a little wearing in. However, the grip on grass is absolutely brilliant and for getting down from Scottish multi-pitch climbs where you have grass, mud, scree and very little dry rock, they're the business

Did the Cuillin Ridge in these - was not disappointed - very light but handled the gabbro just fine and was so happy to be climbing in these rather than boots
I was concerned about reports of needing to size up. I ordered my normal size (46, narrow and low volume) and am happy with the fit. Toes are not bunched. I can imagine people with wider or chunkier feet might have size issues tho. Grip in mud and wet grass is a massive improvement over my old (2016?) guide tennies. As is packability. But the tennies did have a little more lining (which ofc adds weight and bulk). Overall, very happy.
