Very nice boots for alpine climbing.
I used this on a recent climbing session. I've done a couple of sessions on them, one day walked on soft snow & ice with and without crampons and mixed climbing. They are very stiff which is great for climbing but not that great for walking on them. In one of the sessions, the approach to the base camp was 6 hours, I choose to walk using the boots and I develop some nasty blisters.

Hi Patrik,
How warm are they? That's a very difficult question to answer because of the many variable which affect how we as individuals feel the cold.
Warm enough for winter mountaneering in the austrian alps? Personally , I'd see this boot as ideal for ice climbing in winter where you'll be very active but for mountaineering I think you'd be better off with a more insulated boot such as the Nepal Cube or the Scarpa Mount Blanc Pro.
