Product description

A striking rebirth of a La Sportiva classic: the Testarossa! Those of you who have already had the pleasure of rocking this shoe in the past know what it means to tackle difficult sport climbing routes in this thing! The Testarossa is a real all-rounder, but it’s no climbing shoe for beginners. Its aggressive downturned shape makes it ideal for small footholds, slopers and virtually any other geological shapes you might be able to use.

Another great thing about this lace-up shoe is its adjustability. The laces can be adjusted for a perfect fit all the way down to the toes. The Vibram rubber is super sticky and provides an excellent level of edging stability, making the Testarossa extremely versatile.

A point of criticism that La Sportiva has clearly taken to heart: The heel was completely revamped, so it will perform at the highest level when you’re doing heel hooks. The Testarossa is still a pure sport climbing shoe with some downsides when it comes to technical bouldering. Just remember to watch out for the shoelaces if you use the shoe for toe-hooking. Apart from that, the Testarossa is perfect for moderately steep routes and hard bouldering!

The best climbing shoes for bouldering

My favorite bouldering shoes. Perfectly fit my feet (usually go for -1 EU size).

Very versatile: aggressive, great for a heel hook, good grip on tiny holds.
