Really great boots for my medium/wide foot. I use them for 16 months now. Leather forms around the foot really quick, in just 20-30km of walking, for great sock fit feeling (advantage of leather over plastic materials). They are really comfy for long hikes/trekking. The DWR must be added every now and then ( after 4-5 walks). Maybe there's a better or more durable one but I'm using Scarpa DWR for leather shoes. Water repellency is ok, but somehow I feel that it is not so great on the tongue area (there is no leather). I had to stay in cold shallow alpine creek during winter for about half an hour and my feet were wet but I find that extreme situation. Breathability is excellent. Grip is excellent on wet and dry rocks, mud, gravel, dirt, everywhere except hard packed snow and ice because lugs are pretty wide and they are not biting into the hard snow. Spikes are a must in these conditions. Breaking downhill is on another level. The best I ever had.
