Product description

The Kamik William winter boot is a high-quality, soft and waterproof leather boot with sealed seams. Thus, the William is the perfect boot for icy-cold regions, regardless of whether you're going a on a hut trip in the far north, travelling to Antarctica or watching some sled dog racing. Even if you stand around for hours in the cold, your toes won't freeze. The William winter boots are part of Kamik's Men's Heritage 1898 Collection. With its retro design and intended area of use (the comfort rating according to the manufacturer is -40°C), the shoe is a homage to the founding of the company in 1898. Back then, the founder placed a lot of emphasis on providing the best possible footwear for the Yukoners and laid the foundation for the company becoming one of the top manufacturers of shoes for icy cold conditions. Today, the Kamik's state-of-the-art models don't just contain natural materials such as wool lining. Instead, the company either replaces or complements them with high-quality functional fabric. Thus, the William has a soft, water-repellent lining made of 2mm thick layer of polypropylene as well as a 6mm thick layer of polyester. This combination will keep your feet warm and dry, even when your out in sub-zero temperatures for multiple days. As for the sole, the boot features a very high-traction synthetic winter sole that is built to withstand sub-zero temperatures. If the temperatures rise and the ground begins to thaw, the high rubber galosh and the waterproof leather will provide the protection you need.
