I bought Hoka Bondi shoes eight months ago American size 9 UK 7.5 EU 41.5. I’ve loved them and been really happy with my purchase. Just recently I bought Hoka Gaviota and ordered same American size 9 but noticed after they arrived thst they’re marked 9D UK 8.5 and EU 42.66. They feel slightly bigger but I’m completely puzzled with sizing. My foot from back of heel to top of toe is 26.3. I’m not complaining but just puzzled and addled about the discrepancy in sizing. I’d love to hear from you with explanation. I was really happy that I was size 9 (American) as I had to return a pair eight months ago and
Hi Carmel,
I see exactly what has happened. Originally, you had ordered a women's US 9 which equates to a UK 7.5 but your recent order for the Gaviota was for a men's US 9 which equates to a UK 8.5.
If you decide to place a new order make sure it's the women's model which you purchase.
