We got a few different pairs of Hirsch socks to try - and these were a favourite. However, size down when in doubt: the foot of the sock was a bit larger.

Warm, robust, medium-to-heavy thickness.

Toasty feet

This is my second pair I love these socks. Keeps my feet really warm. I don’t wear them with shoes or outside the house, only around the house. The first one I accidentally tumbled washed them and it shrunk.
