Product description
Perfect for difficult and long approaches - the Garmont Dragontail LT! These approach shoes are made of extremely tough velour leather and wonderfully airy and breathable mesh material. Thanks to the athletic fit and precise lacing of these approach shoes, your foot will fit snugly and securely in the shoe. As for the insole, Garmont has used an antimicrobial ECO PU foam insole, which not only provides the cushioning you need but also inhibits the growth of odour-producing bacteria in the shoe. The lightweight and flexible Frame Flex Lite nylon midsole will provide the perfect mix of stability and flexibility. For additional stability, there is also a climbing zone on the underside of the toe. As for the outsole, Garmont used the very grippy Vibram Friction Q811 for loads of traction on rock. There is also a protective rand at the toe for protection against abrasion and rock. The padded and anatomical tongue makes the Garmont Dragontail LT approach shoes extremely comfortable!

I am owner of an older pair of red Dragontail MTN and i bought now the LTs (shark-taupe in excellent price...)
Very nice, normal fit to my -normal- feet (9.5)
its a little lighter than MTNs and a little softer than these, mostly because of the difference in stiffness of the Vibram sole ...
Very good and robust construction, seems that they will last for many years, like the MTNs...
Like MTNs i will use from time to time a good quality waterproofing spray and i hope that like the MTNs would be waterproof enough, but not perfect, like the GTX models.
Very nice lacing and easily adjustable to my feet...
very nice shoes for a survey engineer like me with two-three hours every day outside in all the terrains...
No negatives at all...
