Not the grip that's advertised
I had the previous version of g3's high traction skins and loved them. Then I bought these and it's been quite the disappointment - so much so that I have gone back to my old skins since. What's the problem you may ask - they don't grip. These new skins have lots of plastic (the white long bit at the front end) and a long narrow taper at the end. The result is less skins and thus less traction or grip. I have used these skins in decent conditions and found myself slipping way too much. The advantage of less surface area is obvious - less weight. But the disadvantage is less grip. Don't make the same mistake that I made in thinking less surface area but with high traction skins should be good. It's not. Plus g3 customer service is rotten. Stay away from these skins even though they look pretty cool
