Lightweight trekking tent with silicone coating on both sides
The Lyra II Extreme 2-person tent from Exped is designed for trekking, multi-day hikes and cycling trips. Not only is it flexible and spacious, but the selection of lightweight and durable materials will keep the elements at bay. The ultralight tent only weighs 1,850 g and can be compressed to a compact size of 46 x 14 cm for transporting it on a backpack or luggage rack.
Siliconized ripstop nylon and mosquito net
Another great feature of the Lyra II Extreme includes the lightweight, yet strong DAC Featherlite aluminium pole that’ll support the tent. This allows the inner tent to stand without the flysheet. You can therefore just use it as protection against mosquitoes. The inner tent is made of a 15D No-See-Um Mosquito Net with 15D ripstop nylon fabric that’ll also protect against the wind and offer privacy. As for the durable tent floor, it has a hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm, which means moisture and dirt will stay out. You can also purchase a footprint if you need extra protection.
In addition, thanks to the intuitive clip system, it’s easy and quick to assemble. Once set up, it offers a surface area of 215 x 130 cm, which consists of a 2.8 m² sleeping area that's ideal for two people and a vestibule area of 1.7 m². Your backpack, shoes and luggage will definitely find their place in here. Plus, there is one vestibule and one entrance on each side, making it perfect for two campers. The 110-cm interior height that offers enough space to sit comfortably perfectly rounds off the tent’s features.
