Reviews overview
This is what other customers say:
The main colour ended up being navy blue which I hadn't seen before and I really like it. I've used this bag on a few short trips now including weekend trips and a 10 day trip to Greece. I bought it with the intention of bringing less/packing more efficiently which definitely worked.
The bag itself is very spacious and the additional pockets are surprisingly big/deep, however it is worth noting that depending on how much you pack will depend on how much space you will have in these front pockets which I found more useful than the smallest inner mesh pocket. The inner mesh pocket zips do require a little bit of care when opening and closing as the material is more likely to catch/resists against some minor bulk but if you're a pro with sleeping bag and tent zippers you should be fine - some people don't like this aspect but to be honest it wasn't that big of a deal. I did experiment both with and without packing cubes - I preferred using it with packing cubes and then being able to slot in other items afterwards.
The laptop pocket is huge and the padding between your back and laptop isn't the thickest so you're definitely aware it's there but for short periods of time on your back it's not a problem.
The handles on multiple sides of the bag were really useful for grabbing the bag from any angle.
I ended up receiving the version that doesn't come with a rain cover (I believe that's with the newer models) - this hasn't been a problem so far as I haven't encountered rain while travelling with this bag however it is something to consider as it may be an additional purchase.
I plan to use this bag on longer trips despite its advertising for short trips as packing-wise I'm trying to improve my minimalism/practicality. If this isn't an option for you yet or you're planning to visit colder climates consider sizing up to the 35L or 42L for more space. 4.5 stars.

Hi Rachael,
No, it is still the older model without the compartment for the water bottle, but we will get the current model for the new season.
Best regards,
