Product description
Fast and puncture-proof paired with high traction
The Grand Prix 5000 28'' (25-622) Foldable from Continental is, not without reason, considered to be one of the most powerful road bike tyres around. It’s a true all-rounder that is just as convincing on long tours as it is in training or competition. This is a tyre you can rely on and, thanks to the Vectran panel, you don't have to worry about cuts or punctures, even on short gravel sections or poor road surfaces. The BlackChili rubber compound provides speed, an outstanding grip and low rolling resistance.
Great cushioning and traction properties
Thanks to the Lazer Grip structure on the flanks, enhanced traction whilst cornering is ensured. To keep you as comfortable as possible on long tours, the tyre is equipped with Active Comfort Technology, which dampens vibrations to enable a smoother ride without compromising on performance.
The advantages at a glance:
- High-quality road bike tyre for competitions and training
- Reliable grip and low rolling resistance thanks to BlackChili
- High puncture protection thanks to Vectran panel

Bought these as they are quoted as 28" - but they are actually 25s. The product title is confusing and misleading so have to return them for the correct size.
