I bought both the trousers and the jacket Burton Covert out of curiosity to see how Burton looks like (I have The North Face, Horsefeathers, Fjallraven) and I can tell you that both the trousers and the jacket look good. They definitely are for a younger audience and overall a good value for money choice.
Between the jacket and the trousers, the pants are a perfect fit. I had no issue and they feel really comfortable.
They do a good job but because they are not meant to be that breathable, are a bit stiff (not as stiff as Decathlon gear, although). You should definitely go for either of the two or both. I'm old, I'm boring but still, this pair of Burton Covert jacket and trousers makes me look cool on the slope which is funny.
If you wander, they do the job. You can do better with any of the above mentioned brands but, if you choose them you will either need expensive middle and base layers or otherwise, a larger budget to buy them.
If you are a first time buyer go with Burton or Horsefeathers; its impossible to get it wrong.
If you want to know more about the technical part well, they don't breath as much which helps with the not that good waterproofness of only 10,000 mm. The trousers will do perfect if you don't move that much on the mountain and outside is a bit cold. If it gets really worm, you will get hot. They do a good job with the wind as well.
