We bought the the "super standard" size and it has helped us to clip the first few spots in scary climbing routes.
I would recommend the compact version if you want to pack it into airplane since we were not able to take this one in our luggage.

Great for setting up the first (and sometimes second and third) thus preventing ground falls and also to clipstick yourself up your projects very quickly enabling trying the hard moves on top rope before the send!

The extendable section of the BetaStick is fantastic and big step up from the previous model.
The new plastic-moulded head is fine for most quickdraws, but with one very noticeable flaw: The metal piece that is pulled back to keep the quickdraw gate open also moves over a plastic section that wears out very quickly. Amazing this even made it into production with this issue.
I'd buy it again as there's not many other options, however, a disappointing issue with it.
