Lightweight, retains warmth and waterproof.
I have been using this jacket for about 2 years now. No damage although I stuff it into tight packs. I use it for mountain running whenever it very cold or wet. It light weight coupled with it wind and water proof nature make it an ideal outer layer in adverse weather.

Hi Craig, That information is not too clear but basically, because of the lightweight nature of Gore-Tex Paclite it will be possible for water to ingress when using a heavy pack of more than approximately 10kg. The weight of the pack on the material will exceed the hydrostatic head.
