An honest review
I read many positive reviews for these pants (they aren't tights) but my experience of them isn't great.
Pros:
Cons: Inseam length ridiculously long (4" too long). I'm 5'11" ordered a large and the length is unusably long especially as these are meant to be running pants. Articulation is really poor, you can squat easy enough but leg raises are constricted first at the kness and then the crotch. So no good for trail running that involves hills, hiking or scrambling. The built in pockets can't accomadate larger smartphones. The material has that noisy swishy sound to it.
Needless to say I returned my pair. One of the worst Arcteryx products I've tried and Ive tried lots of their gear.
- Disadvantages
- Poor Articulation
I have been using them for running in autumn. They fit so well and look so good, that I was even considering to use them as casual pants. Good for running if it is not too rainy. With rain it stays warm but the pants get heavy.
