Arc'teryx made the Atom's shell out of a durable Tinthan fabric that has a DWR coating for water-resistance. Polartec's Power Stretch material makes the sides air permeable as well as stretchy, and Hardface technology keeps the sides strong for many seasons of mountainous adventures.
