Not zero-drop
I don't normally write reviews. I started wearing Altra running shoes about 3 years ago, and I only wear them now because of the zero-drop platform. I don't like the Rivera 2 for various reasons, not least because the cushioning is firm and inert. Ok, these things happen. However, they didn't feel like zero-drop shoes from the start, and I've now read a review that demonstrates they're not. So, if I can't rely on the defining feature of Altra being correct, maybe it's time to look elsewhere. I don't recommend these shoes.
