Lightweight, durable and functional walking boots
Comfortable, weatherproof, functional and stable: the Trekker L.3 Wide GTX from AKU ensures maximum comfort on hikes and treks. Oh, and they look good too, of course!
Comfort and traction
The upper is made of durable suede and a water vapour permeable AIR8000 fabric. As for the lining, it’s equipped with a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane that’s breathable and keeps moisture out. Plus, they have a high collar to support your ankles on uneven terrain.
Some other great features include the breathable Custom Fit Soft insole made of a shock-absorbing foam and a form-stable EVA midsole that provides additional cushioning and more flexibility. As for the Vibram Curcuma outsole, it offers stability and excellent traction on muddy and wet terrain. The Trekker L.3 Wide GTX is a must for your next hill walk!

I love AKU boots - they're fantastic. I wear them for daily use as well as hiking. I have a pair of (standard width) Pilgrims, and they're a smidge tight around the widest part of my foot (I have quite wide feet). These boots are beautifully made, but sole-on-sole, they're narrower than the Pilgrims, so I'm sending them back.
